ABOUT BAD MECHANIC

BAD MECHANIC was built for people who love cars and motorcycles enough to make questionable decisions with them.

I am not here to pretend I run some flawless professional shop, and this is not a club where the most expensive machine automatically wins. I like cars. I like motorcycles. I like working on them, talking about them, changing them, keeping them alive and wondering what they could become.

Like almost everybody who has spent enough time around tools, I have bought the wrong parts, fought stubborn bolts, turned simple jobs into weekend projects, bought things that looked like great deals and eventually discovered why they were cheap.

That is where BAD MECHANIC comes from.

Because the best garage stories usually are not about everything going perfectly. They are about the part that did not fit. The bolt that would not move. The project that was supposed to take one weekend. The repair that created another repair. The car or motorcycle everybody said was not worth saving.

And not every great garage story is about a repair.

Sometimes it is the car your family kept for decades. Your father's truck. Your first car. The motorcycle you have owned for twenty years. The machine you sold and still regret. The one you bought back because you never really forgot it.

Maybe it is not rare, fast, expensive or particularly pretty. Maybe that is exactly the point.

THE CAR DOESN'T HAVE TO BE SPECIAL. THE STORY DOES.

BAD MECHANIC exists to collect those stories, give them a recognizable voice, and give ordinary garage people a place to be remembered.
