WHAT'S THE STORY BEHIND THIS?
Do not worry about writing it perfectly. Tell us what happened, why this machine matters, what went wrong, what changed, who was involved, what it cost you, what you almost gave up on, or why you still refuse to sell it.
The best question to answer is simple: what would nobody know about this car or motorcycle just by looking at it?
WHAT SHOULD I SEND?
Send what you have. Raw is fine. We would rather have a real story with imperfect phone footage than a polished video with nothing to say.
Helpful material includes:
- one clear view of the car, motorcycle or project
- two or three close details that matter to the story
- the owner working, driving safely, starting the vehicle or interacting with it
- before / during / after photos when available
- old family photos or archive video if the story spans years
- real engine sound or first start when relevant
- a voice note explaining what happened and why it mattered
Please keep source clips free of baked-in copyrighted music when possible.

Submitting is free. You keep ownership of your original content. You must own the material you submit or have permission to provide it. If your story is selected, BAD MECHANIC may edit, caption, publish and promote the submitted material under the full Submission Terms.
Do not submit street-racing footage, reckless driving, impaired driving, hate, harassment, material that violates another person's rights, or content you do not have permission to share.
