TELL SOMEONE'S GARAGE STORY
You do not have to be the owner to know a story matters.
A spouse. A parent. A son or daughter. A friend. A partner. A neighbor. Someone who spent years building the same car, keeping the same motorcycle alive, helping everybody else in the garage, or holding onto a machine for reasons nobody would understand from a photograph.
Some garage stories are told by the person who lived them. Others are told by the people who never forgot.

NOMINATE SOMEONE
If the person is living, they must agree before the story is submitted for publication consideration. Download the Nominee Release, have them sign it, then upload the signed release with the story.
They will know they gave permission, but the feature can still be a surprise: they do not have to know whether the story will be selected, what BAD will say, what Member Number they may receive, or how the finished feature will look.
HONOR SOMEONE IN MEMORY
Some garage stories should not disappear when the person is gone.
If you are telling the story of someone who has passed away, submit it as a Memorial / Legacy Story. You will need to complete the Memorial Story Release / Rights Declaration and confirm that you own or have permission to provide the photos, video, audio and other materials you send.
If selected, the story can be recognized on the Garage Wall with an IN MEMORY OF designation.
Built in a garage. Remembered by the Club.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF GIFT
Father's Day. Birthday. Anniversary. Retirement. Christmas. Project completion.
Nominate someone — and if their story is selected and published, they receive a Member Number and digital Certificate of Membership. After the feature, optional physical recognition such as a printed certificate or Garage Plaque may be offered when available.
